FYI
Getting your COVID-19 shot is a safe and effective way to prevent hospitalizations due to serious illness and death.
- The COVID-19 shot is still the best way to protect yourself against COVID-19 and all variants.
- Oklahomans can find vaccine appointments for anyone five and older by visiting a local pharmacy or personal provider, using the state’s Vaccine Scheduler Portal, visiting https://www.vaccines.gov/ or by calling 211.
FYI
Boosters
- Booster shots have been shown to add an extra layer of protection.
- Boosters are available to all Oklahomans 18+, regardless of which vaccine you previously received. Booster doses of the Pfizer shot are also available to 12–17-year-olds.
- Also, Oklahomans who are moderately or severely immunocompromised are able to get their booster. For those Oklahomans if they received a MRNA vaccine, three doses will be considered their primary series. Their fourth shot is their booster dose.
- If someone moderately or severely immunocompromised received a Johnson and Johnson vaccine, they will get their booster dose two months after their primary dose.
